Purpose

These terms govern the use of flammeliberte.com and its services (reading the manifesto, signing it, contact and reporting forms, signing up for invitations).

Access

Reading the site is free and requires no registration. Manifesto signing and invitation features are reserved for users authenticated via a confirmation link received by email.

Expected conduct

Users undertake to provide accurate information when signing, not to impersonate a third party, and not to use the invitation system for solicitation or spam. Any misuse may result in account deletion without notice.

Privacy policy

Flamme Liberté collects only the minimum data needed to sign the manifesto and communicate with signatories. No data is shared with third parties, no ads are served on the site, no marketing trackers are used.

Data collected

When you sign the manifesto, we collect:

  • Email address, first name, last name — strictly necessary for authentication and signature.
  • Country, city, bio, social media handles, profile picture — optional, filled in voluntarily by the user in their profile.
  • Signup date, signature date, preferred language — computed automatically.

Use of data

  • Public signature: first name, last name, city, country and photo (if provided) appear on /signataires, unless you uncheck "Public visibility" in your profile.
  • Transactional communications: site updates and manifesto changes. Enabled by default, can be disabled in your profile > My preferences > Important notifications.
  • Newsletter: editorial news (campaigns, investigations, press releases). Disabled by default. You enable it explicitly in your profile or can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Tracking

When you invite a friend to sign ("Mobilise your network" feature), we record: the invitation send date, the click date (if any), and the date the invitee eventually signed. This information is used exclusively to measure the effectiveness of the system and to avoid contacting recipients who have already signed. No third-party trackers (Google Analytics, etc.) are used on the site.

Data sharing

Your data is shared with no third party. No sale, no rental, no commercial partner. The only technical third-party services we use are: OVH (hosting in France), our SMTP provider for email delivery (also OVH), and Google Tag Manager (for anonymized traffic statistics only, no advertising cookies).
